Job summary

Texas Water Development Board is seeking a senior leader to administer the Program Administration Outreach Department, guiding outreach initiatives that connect communities with TWDB financial and technical resources. You will supervise staff, manage budgets, and collaborate with internal and external partners to advance water infrastructure programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public administration, business administration, planning, environmental science, water resources, or related field.
• Seven years of progressively responsible public outreach, stakeholder engagement, program administration, or related experience.
• Three years of leading public outreach and/or technical assistance projects or teams.

Responsibilities

• Develops outreach strategies to raise awareness and access to TWDB financial and technical assistance.
• Oversees coordination of WUTAP and AMPSS outreach programs.
• Builds relationships with water and wastewater systems, local and state partners, and stakeholders.
• Represents TWDB at meetings, conferences, and public events.
• Ensures accurate, accessible public-facing information aligned with policy.
