Job summary

The Texas Water Development Board is seeking qualified engineers and project managers for statewide programs, with roles based in Austin, Dallas/Fort Worth, or Houston. These positions involve reviewing applications, developing programs, and coordinating with state agencies to advance water and wastewater projects.

Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications, with monthly ranges from roughly $6,126 to $7,577, depending on level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or eligibility in Texas is required or expected.
• Experience with state-funded programs and engineering project review is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review applications for financial assistance and advise applicants on TWDB requirements.
• Develop and implement state programs and initiatives.
• Coordinate with federal/state agencies on projects and programs.
• Ensure compliance with state/federal regulations and TWDB rules.
