Job summary

Applegreen USA is seeking a Restaurant General Manager for a Burger King location in South Carolina. You will lead daily operations, drive profitability, guest satisfaction, and people development while reporting to the District Manager.

The GM will supervise an Assistant Manager, Shift Leaders, and crew members in a fast-paced setting. The role demands strong P&L focus, leadership, flexibility, and the ability to coach staff, manage labor, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver high

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Strong understanding of P&L management and drivers of restaurant profitability.
• Ability to prioritize own and others’ work to meet deadlines and objectives.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and understanding of guest service principles.
• Available to work flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work long and/or irregular shifts as needed, for proper functioning of the restaurant.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of a single restaurant.
• Oversee restaurant profit and loss (P&L) and profitability drivers.
• Drive sales through proactive guest service, people development and operations management.
• Motivate and direct team members to exceed guest expectations with accurate, friendly, and fast service in a clean facility.
• Enhance guest experience by developing a prompt action plan to address and resolve any guest issues or concerns.
• Identify and interact with the community to engage prospective guests and execute local marketing initiatives.
• Inspire the restaurant team by managing recognition programs.
• Provide coaching and feedback to direct reports to raise restaurant performance.
• Manage restaurant labor with optimal staffing and scheduling.
• Enforce compliance with regulations and brand standards while upholding operational policies.
• Perform duties of the Assistant Manager and Shift Supervisor when necessary.
