Compass Maritime Group is seeking a Marine Service Manager in Missouri to own the service department’s P&L, strengthen accountability, and drive profitable growth. This hands-on leader balances technical credibility with financial discipline to build a high-performing team.

You will stabilize operations, assess people, processes, and workloads, set clear targets, and continuously improve workflows. Experience with Lightspeed and strong customer communication are valued for success.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of managing the P&L of a marine or technical service department.
• Successful history meeting monthly service revenue targets and improving profitability.
• Several years of experience managing service technicians.
• Professional marine repair experience with strong diagnostic capabilities.
• Experience working on a range of vessels, including yachts over 40 feet.
• Ability to prepare accurate, profitable repair estimates.
• Comfort learning and using service-management technology.
• Valid driver's license and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Own the service department P&L and revenue targets.
• Improve estimating, scheduling, pricing, parts coordination, and workflow.
• Monitor labor sales, hours billed, productivity, margins, and expenses.
• Provide clear reporting on results and staffing needs and priorities.
• Coach technicians to improve performance and accountability.
• Recruit, onboard, and retain skilled technicians.
• Inspect vessels and prepare labor/parts estimates.
• Ensure work is completed on schedule and to quality standards.
