SIU Medicine in Springfield, IL seeks a full-time faculty member to join the Department of Medicine as a Clinical Teacher. The incumbent will dedicate a major portion of time to education, leadership, administration and advancing excellence in clinical care across the education continuum.

On-site only position with responsibilities in inpatient and outpatient care, teaching, and scholarly activity. Compensation includes academic base salary with additional clinical pay through a separate

Formación

• Must be a graduate of an accredited medical school with Pulmonary Medicine training.
• Board eligibility in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, and Critical Care.
• Licensed to practice medicine in Illinois prior to employment.
• Experience serving multicultural populations.

Responsabilidades

• Complete inpatient and outpatient consultations as requested by full-time SIU clinical faculty.
• Develop and maintain professional practice in accordance with departmental policy.
• CFTE of 87.5% including 7.5% clinical teaching; achieve minimum RVU target of 4,442 per year.
• Participate in University, SIU HealthCare and hospital committees as requested.
