Qualifications

• Minimum: graduate of medical school; board eligible/certified in Infectious Disease.
• Specialty training in Infectious Diseases required or eligible for ABIM Infectious Diseases.
• Licensed to practice medicine in Illinois or eligible for Illinois licensure.

Responsibilities

• Administrative (5%): assume divisional/admin duties and support fellowship activities.
• Teaching (15%): teach, mentor and supervise students, residents and fellows; deliver lectures and rounds.
• Research and Advanced Training (5%): pursue scholarly activities related to education and leadership.
• Service (75%): provide inpatient/outpatient consultations; contribute to committees; CFTE 82.5% including 7.5% clinical teaching; target RVUs.
