Job summary

The University of Central Florida invites applications for the Miller Technology Endowed Chair in Intelligent Work Systems, a 9‑month tenured position located on the UCF Main Campus in Orlando. The successful candidate will lead in organizational design at the technology–business intersection and contribute to STLI and the College’s initiatives.

Minimum qualifications include a Ph.D. from an AACSB‑accredited institution, a record of tenure‑level scholarly achievement, an active research agenda,

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in business, economics, information systems, engineering, computer science, psychology, or closely related field.
• Record of scholarly achievement qualifying for tenure as Full Professor.
• Active, sustained research program with peer‑reviewed publications.
• Experience teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses.

Responsibilities

• Serve as intellectual architect for the college’s Intelligent Work Systems initiative.
• Translate scholarly work into organizational practice through partnerships and executive education.
• Conduct high‑impact research on human–technology interaction and decision systems.
• Help develop new academic programs and executive offerings aligned with technology focus.
