Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior yard jockey experience preferred.
• Some positions may require a CDL.
• Excellent driving skills required for maneuvering large trailers in tight spaces.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maneuvering trailers to and from the shipping dock for loading and unloading.
• Relocating live haul trailers safely and efficiently.
• Documenting pre- and post-shift safety checks on trucks and equipment.
• Maintain radio communication to coordinate movements.
• Monitor fuel use and refuel as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with food safety requirements and humane handling of live birds.
• Maintain necessary paperwork and keep equipment area clean.
