Job summary

IntelliSource is seeking a dependable Yard Jockey at our Worcester facility to support trailer movement and yard operations. You will safely move, position, and stage tractor-trailers while coordinating with dock, warehouse, and transportation teams in a fast-paced distribution environment.

The role requires experience operating tractor-trailers, strong safety focus, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of Yard Jockey experience.
• At least 12 months of operating a tractor-trailer unit.
• Ability to meet company, customer, insurance, and regulatory driving requirements.
• Ability to safely maneuver tractor-trailers in confined or high-traffic areas.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal safety instructions.
• Ability to complete required records, logs, inspections, and DOT documentation.
• Ability to work independently and maintain dependable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailer and yard equipment in accordance with requirements.
• Coordinate with dock, warehouse, and transportation teams to move trailers to dock doors and staging areas.
• Transport and position trailers accurately and within timelines.
• Inspect trucks and trailers for mechanical and safety readiness.
• Perform pre-shift and post-shift inspections and report issues.
• Maintain fuel levels and report maintenance needs.
• Complete trailer inventory checks and verify trailer numbers and load status.
• Maintain logs and DOT documentation.
