Professional Services Technical Installer

Join NCR Atleos as a Professional Services Technical Installer. This role involves installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of telecommunications equipment, with a focus on fiber optics and photonic systems.

Location: Virtual
Travel: 75% plus travel may be required

Key Responsibilities

• Report daily on project activities, hours, and expenses.
• Manage project documentation and reporting in customer databases or Excel.
• Coordinate with project personnel, customers, and suppliers to address issues and risks.
• Ensure implementation adheres to time, cost, and quality standards.
• Assist engineering and dispatch duties as needed.
• Maintain access, training records, and deployment tools.
• Lead, supervise, and direct installation assignments.
• Implement safety, quality control, and OEM installation practices.
• Perform hardware testing, wiring, power verification, and commissioning of equipment.
• Manage logistics and execute hardware installation across multiple sites.
• Lead site teams, verify service delivery, and ensure quality standards.

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in system installation, with proficiency in Telcordia standards and certification levels 1-3.
• Ability to work independently and adhere to company policies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift 25 pounds, work in tight spaces, and perform physical installations.
• Willingness to travel and work night shifts as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and familiarity with TELCORDIA GR-1275 standard.
