Are you a former 911 dispatcher, call taker, or communications center supervisor looking to take the next step in your career? Do you know CAD and public safety communications inside and out, and want to put that experience to work helping agencies across the country succeed? This role involves regular travel to support agencies nationwide, so we're looking for someone who is self-motivated, adaptable, and energized by variety in where and how they work. We are seeking software consultants to work with the Police, Fire, and Communications Centers across the US throughout the software implementation lifecycle. This role helps drive customer satisfaction with the configuration guidance provided by the consultants and is a key contributor to our success.
The Software Consultant acts as the subject matter expert for configuration of CentralSquare Public Safety software solutions.This responsibility broadly includes the discovery, configuration, validation, and testing, training and Go-Live phases of CentralSquare software project implementation. Provides initial demonstration of software to customers, analyzes customer processes and recommends best practices for customers to follow with CentralSquare software. Will provide on-site or remote configuration training to agency personnel. This positionwill provide on-site end user training to agency personnel. The person in this role possesses an excellent level of product knowledge, serves as liaison between the organization and customers, and works closely with project management staff to maintain implementation timelines.

Up to 75% travel
A required part of the onboarding process for this role involves obtaining CJIS (Criminal Justice Information Services) clearance—a critical credential for safeguarding public safety data. At CentralSquare, we’ll stand with you every step of the way to secure this clearance should you be selected for hire. As part of the process, a comprehensive background check will be conducted, and please note that U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is generally required to obtain CJIS clearance.
