Job summary

HCM TradeSeal, a payroll and labor-compliance software provider for the construction industry, seeks a Professional Services Consultant. You will lead calls, investigate customer needs, and drive tickets toward clear outcomes across multiple accounts.

You will work with HCM/payroll platforms (Workday, ADP, UKG, Dayforce) and construction ERP tools, learning both areas to deliver integrated solutions. Remote, nationwide opportunities available.

Qualifications

HCM TradeSeal builds payroll and labor-compliance software for the construction industry. Our platform helps contractors manage complex requirements involving prevailing wages, union rules, job costing, certified payroll and integrations with leading HCM and payroll systems.

We are a growing software company serving increasingly large and sophisticated construction organizations, including customers using platforms such as Workday.

The Role

We are hiring a Professional Services Consultant to help customers solve complex payroll, configuration, data and integration challenges.

This is a hands-on, highly client-facing position. You will lead professional services and technical support calls, investigate customer needs, complete service tickets and keep work moving toward clear outcomes. You will work across multiple customer accounts rather than serving as a traditional project manager or dedicated account owner.

The right person is calm under pressure, excellent with customers and comfortable learning complicated software and payroll processes. You do not need to be a software developer, but you should be technically curious and able to investigate problems, work with data and communicate effectively with both customers and engineers.

Our ideal candidate has experience with both:

• An HCM, payroll or workforce-management platform such as Workday, Paycom, ADP, UKG or Dayforce.
• Construction ERP, payroll, job-costing or field-management software.

That combination is uncommon, so we will also consider exceptional candidates with deep experience in one area and a strong ability to learn the other.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in professional services, software implementation, technical support, solutions consulting or a similar customer-facing software role.
• Experience working with HCM, payroll, ERP, workforce-management or financial software.

• Ability to manage multiple customer requests and service tickets simultaneously.

Strongly Preferred

• Experience with both HCM/payroll software and construction ERP or job-costing systems.
• Experience with Workday, Paycom, ADP, UKG, Dayforce or a comparable HCM platform.
• Experience with construction ERP systems such as Viewpoint, Foundation, Sage, CMiC, Procore or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of construction payroll, union rules, prevailing wages, certified payroll or labor compliance.
• Experience supporting enterprise customers with complex organizations and integrations.
• Familiarity with APIs, data mapping, CSV files, SQL or software integration workflows.

What Success Looks Like

Within your first several weeks, you will be able to independently lead customer calls, resolve routine and moderately complex service requests, and bring the right people into conversations when specialized expertise is needed.

Over time, you will become a trusted problem solver for our customers and substantially expand HCM TradeSeal's capacity to deliver high-quality professional services - while allowing our Solutions Lead and executive team to focus on the most complex customer and product challenges.
