Professional Security Officer – Part Time

Former military / law enforcement encouraged to apply!

Location: Springfield, IL

Rate: $16.50-$17.50/HR

What Your Day May Look Like:

1. Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
2. Secure entrances / patrol inside and outside the client’s premises.
3. Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
4. Identify and report safety issues or hazardous conditions.
5. Clearly and quickly report any suspicious activity.
6. Provide detailed written witness reports.

Position Requirements:

1. 18 years of age or older.
2. High School Diploma or GED Required.
3. Standard computer / technology skills needed.
4. Customer service background preferred.
5. Security experience a plus.
6. Ability to interact professionally with a wide range of individuals.
7. Ability to conduct patrols throughout the shift.
8. Great attention to detail and vigilance during the shift.
