Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced attorney to join our liability practice in Michigan. The ideal candidate will handle all phases of professional liability litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation, for a range of malpractice and negligence matters.

You will work with a nationally recognized litigation firm, enjoy hybrid schedules, and contribute to business development while delivering strong advocacy and strategic analysis.

Qualifications

• Active license to practice law in Michigan.
• 2–10 years of litigation experience across liability and professional areas.
• Strong writing, analytical, and advocacy capabilities.
• Deposition and courtroom experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle all phases of professional liability litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Represent clients in complex malpractice and negligence matters.
• Conduct legal research and draft persuasive briefs and motions.
• Communicate effectively with clients, insurers, opposing counsel, and courts.
• Develop litigation strategy and case evaluations.
• Manage caseload independently while collaborating with partners.
• Participate in business development and client relationship initiatives.
