Jobot is seeking an experienced attorney to independently manage a full civil defense caseload, handling all phases of litigation from pleadings to trial prep. The role offers a hybrid work model after onboarding and a competitive compensation package.

You will bring 5+ years of defense experience, a California Bar license, and strong writing, research, and analytical skills to collaborate with leadership and mentor junior attorneys within a well-established firm.

Qualifications

• Strong legal writing and research skills.
• Experience in litigation strategy and courtroom appearances.
• Ability to communicate with clients and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a full caseload of civil defense matters from start to finish.
• Handle pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial prep.
• Draft client and carrier reports, analyze claims, and identify defense strategy.
• Participate in settlement conferences, court appearances, and mediations.
• Collaborate with leadership and mentor junior attorneys.
