Jobot is seeking an experienced Permanent Associate Attorney to join our medical malpractice defense team in a hybrid role. The attorney will manage end-to-end litigation, collaborate with partners on strategy, and coordinate with expert witnesses while maintaining a high-volume billable hours target.

The ideal candidate has a JD, 3+ years in medical malpractice defense, and active state bar status, with excellent writing and advocacy skills and strong collaboration abilities.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active State Bar in good standing.
• Exceptional writing and advocacy skills.
• Ability to collaborate on case strategy and work with expert witnesses.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of medical malpractice defense cases.
• Draft, review, and argue motions, pleadings, and discovery documents.
• Collaborate with partners to develop case strategy.
• Meet a billable hour requirement of 1950 hours per year (162.5 per month).
• Cover depositions, mediations, and court appearances.
• Communicate with expert witnesses, clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
