Job summary

Columbia Hospitality, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented janitorial associate to maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and order across assigned facilities. You will perform high dusting, sanitizing, bathroom cleaning, trash handling, floor care, and periodic exterior upkeep to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for guests and staff.

The role requires reliable attendance, adherence to cleaning protocols, and courteous interaction with customers and supervisors. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Basic operations of janitorial work.
• Basic methods, materials and equipment used in janitorial work.
• Basic safe work practices.
• The use of toxic and non-toxic chemicals (per MSDS sheets).

Responsibilities

• High dust surfaces above shoulder height using a treated high duster.
• Sanitize surfaces below shoulder height with germicidal solution.
• Bathroom cleaning per order including toilet and dispensers.
• Empty trash cans and replace liners.
• Floor dusting or vacuuming with dust mop and proper technique.
• Grounds care and outdoor area cleaning.
• Public common areas cleaning and window checks.
• Food court cleaning and tray washing.
• Floor sanitizing with germicidal solution.
• Inspect room and report issues.
