Job summary

MedSpeed is hiring a Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver in Fairfax, VA. This full-time position offers $18.00/hour with standard weekday hours (9:00 AM – 5:30 PM). You will drive a company vehicle to transport medical supplies and specimens, using scanners to track items and ensuring safety and timeliness.

A background check and drug screen are required. Ideal candidates have a clean driving record, a 3-year licensed history, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screen.
• Excellent driving history and safe driving record.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to lift/carry items up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles and transport lab specimens and related items safely.
• Operate hand-held scanners to track items through transportation.
• Load and unload cargo and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Follow policies, procedures and schedules consistently.
• Demonstrate teamwork and adaptability with clients and teammates.
