Job summary

MedSpeed is hiring a Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver in Richmond, CA for full-time hours at $20.00 - $20.75/hr. Shift: Monday–Friday, 1:30pm–10:00pm. Join a healthcare logistics team delivering a range of medical supplies and specimens in a company-owned vehicle.

Responsibilities include safe driving, loading/unloading, scanning items, and maintaining vehicle readiness. Candidates need a high school diploma, 3+ years driving with a clean record, and ability to pass drug screening.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Must have excellent driving history.
• Familiarity working with and adapting to technology.
• Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screens.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals and related materials in a company-owned vehicle.
• Load and unload vehicle with appropriate equipment.
• Operate a hand-held scanning device to track items throughout the transportation cycle.
• Observe operating policies, procedures and service schedules.
• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior.
• Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, neat vehicle.
• Demonstrate teamwork and collaborate with teammates and clients.
• Support a collaborative MedSpeed team culture.
