Job summary

MedSpeed is hiring a Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver in Fairfax. You will drive a company vehicle to transport medical supplies, maintain professional client interactions, and perform routine inspections. The role supports a nationwide healthcare logistics network with a strong emphasis on safety and reliability.

Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with a start/end window +/- 1 hour. COVID vaccination may be required depending on location.

Qualifications

• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
• Familiarity working with and adapting to technology.
• Demonstrated ability to follow procedures closely.
• Ability to determine efficient routing between multiple points.
• Must pass initial and random drug & alcohol screening.
• MVR/background check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company-owned vehicle to transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, and related materials.
• Operate a hand-held scanner to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Observe company policies, procedures and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load and unload items safely.
• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior.
• Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and keep the vehicle clean and orderly.
• Perform route duties across assigned paths and adapt to changing client needs.
• Collaborate with teammates and clients to support a MedSpeed team culture.
