Job summary

MedSpeed is hiring a Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver in Silver Spring. You will drive a company vehicle to transport lab specimens and medical supplies, following a fixed 9:00am–5:30pm schedule with occasional +/- hour adjustments. A COVID vaccination may be required based on location.

The role emphasizes safety, customer service, and reliable routing across the DMV area. Training is provided, and benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), and on-demand pay.

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
• Familiarity with technology and ability to use scanning devices.
• Ability to follow procedures closely and maintain route efficiency.
• Must pass initial and random drug & alcohol screening.
• Must have an excellent driving history and be able to drive a non-commercial vehicle.
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination depending on location and local mandates.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive company vehicles to transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, and related items.
• Operate a hand-held scanning device to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, neat vehicle.
• Provide professional image and customer service to clients and the public.
• Route duties across multiple points; adapt to schedule changes as needed.
