Job summary

Arcis Golf seeks a Professional Golf Instructor/Coach at The Woodlands Country Club, Player Course, The Woodlands, TX. You will manage day-to-day instruction, deliver high-quality coaching, build relationships with members and guests, and promote engaging coaching programs on and off the course.

The role focuses on delivering top-notch instruction, developing student skills, and driving participation in coaching programs and events. Weekend/evening availability may be required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of college or equivalent experience preferred.
• Passion for playing and helping others improve.
• Strong interest in swing mechanics, athletic movement and learning.
• Comfortable with using technology in lessons.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Engaging, approachable personality with the ability to connect with and build confidence in students.
• Ability to work effectively with golfers of all ages and skill levels.
• Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of the golf lesson programming in conjunction with the Director of Instruction and the rest of the Coaching Team
• Assist in organizing and staging instructional programs for juniors, adults, beginners to competitive golfers, and engage in social coaching programs
• Willingness to be involved in coaching Adaptive Student Lesson Programs
• Work with The Refinery/Academy Club Fitter with students club fitting needs
• Attend regular team meetings and educational events
• Engage with members and guests daily, creating memorable experiences
• Maintain organized and clean lesson bays and stations
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and a commitment to excellence in interactions with members, colleagues, and staff
• Follow all company, club, and department policies, procedures, and instructions
• Follow safe working practices, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines and encouraging others to do the same
• Take the initiative in personal and professional growth and maintain any required certifications relevant to your role.
