Job summary

Vital Records Control (VRC) in Miami Gardens, FL seeks a Driver to deliver service to customers, collect information, and operate company vans or box trucks in compliance with federal and state laws and policy.

You will be on time, accurate, and safety‑conscious, read maps or navigate city streets, and work with customers to fulfill requests. Overtime, holiday coverage, and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• MVR Check.
• Background check.
• Must be able to pass random drug screens.
• Must be able to carry a cell phone to be in constant communication with the Records Center.
• Strong commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Must be able to work overtime and available around the clock including holidays.
• Strong directional awareness and navigational skills.
• Commercial Driver’s License, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Drive vans or box trucks to customer locations for service needs.
• Report to work on time prepared to perform the duties of the position.
• Meet department productivity and quality standards.
• Receive, comprehend, and respond appropriately to direction.
• Work with customers to fulfill customer service requests.
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor or DOO.
• In inclement weather, report to work two hours before regularly scheduled time to allow for delays and to budget time to put tire chains on company vehicles, if necessary.
