FullBloom is seeking a Professional Development Specialist in the Greater Salt Lake City area for per diem work with K-12 educators and school leaders. You will support teachers through literacy and instructional strategies, coaching, and collaborative professional development.

Responsibilities include conducting planning conferences, mentoring teachers, crafting engaging lessons, and leading workshops while coordinating with directors to ensure program success.

Qualifikationen

• Must reside near Greater Salt Lake City.
• K-12 Literacy Specialist Endorsement preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field; master’s preferred.
• Experience teaching math, literacy, science or other relevant curriculum.
• Teaching/instructional experience required; coaching and teacher development preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and Office skills.

• Per diem (minimum number of hours are not guaranteed).
• Schedules vary based on individual school needs.

• Research and demonstrate instructional strategies.
• Foster a culture of active participation and vibrant open discussions.
• Ensure all educator development is completed successfully.
• Provide report documentation as required.
• Communicate actively with directors regarding activities.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

What we’ll need from you:

• Must reside near or around Greater Salt Lake City.
• K-12 Literacy Specialist Endorsement or other applicable Utah literacy/reading endorsement preferred.
• Basic instructional experience required; teacher coaching and transformation, school turnaround, and literacy experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field required (master’s degree preferred).
• Experience teaching math, literacy, science or other relevant curriculum.
• Teaching/instructional experience required. Experience in instructional coaching and teacher development, literacy instruction, and school transformation/turnaround preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Microsoft Office experience.
