Job summary

Catapult Learning is hiring a Professional Development Specialist (Per Diem) in Rochester, NY to support educators with high-impact literacy, math, STEM, and blended-learning initiatives. This role focuses on planning conferences, creating sample lessons, and delivering workshops to adult learners.

You will partner with school leaders to implement instructional strategies, track progress, and provide documentation. Per diem employment offers flexibility to fit varying school schedules.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

How you'll do it:

• Host dynamic and collaborative planning conferences that unleash the creative potential of educators.
• Craft creative example lessons that captivate students.
• Lead interactive professional development workshops when needed.
• Research and demonstrate instructional strategies.
• Foster a culture of active participation and vibrant open discussions.
• Ensure all educator development is completed successfully.
• Provide report documentation as required.
• Communicate actively with directors regarding activities.

Qualifications

What we'll need from you:

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field (master's degree preferred).
• Experience teaching math, literacy, technology, or STEM curriculum.
• Experience delivering professional development workshops to adults.
• Experience working in blended learning classrooms.

Compensation

$600 daily rate
