Job summary

Catapult Learning, a division of FullBloom, seeks a Mayth Professional Development Specialist. This per diem role is hybrid on Hawaii Island, Hawaii, with starts in the 2026-2027 school year.

You will empower teachers and school leaders by delivering literacy, math, STEM, technology implementation, and blended learning experiences. Your work helps students grow as educators gain confidence and effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Must reside in Hawaii.
• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field required.
• Reading/literacy certification, endorsement, or literacy instruction expertise preferred.
• Experience teaching math, literacy, reading, special education or other relevant curriculum.
• Teaching/instructional experience required; coaching and teacher development experience preferred.
• Leadership experience required.
• Three years in coaching required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Microsoft Office experience.

Responsibilities

• Host dynamic and collaborative planning conferences with educators.
• Coach, train, and mentor teachers individually.
• Craft creative example lessons to captivate students.
• Lead interactive professional development workshops when needed.
• Research and demonstrate instructional strategies.
• Foster a culture of active participation and open discussions.
• Ensure all educator development is completed successfully.
• Provide report documentation as required.
• Communicate with directors regarding activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

As a Professional Development Specialist with Catapult Learning, you will:

• Host dynamic and collaborative planning conferences that unleash the creative potential of educators.

Qualifications

What we’ll need from you:

The positive, enthusiastic Professional Development Specialist we seek has these qualifications.

• Must reside in Hawaii.


• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field required (master’s degree preferred).


• Reading/literacy certification, endorsement, or demonstrated expertise in literacy instruction preferred.


• Experience teaching math, literacy, reading, special education or other relevant curriculum.


• Teaching/instructional experience required. Experience in instructional coaching and teacher development, literacy instruction, and school transformation/turnaround preferred.


• Leadership experience required.


• 3 years in coaching required.


• Excellent communication skills.


• Microsoft Office experience
