Job summary

Bluebonnet Trails Community Services seeks a Professional Development Coordinator to deliver live trainings (PMAB, MHFA) across the eight-county service area. This full-time, 40-hour role requires occasional weekend and after-hours work and extensive travel; in-person trainings are provided at BTCS clinics.

Requires a four-year degree in human services, training and public speaking experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in human services.
Training and public speaking experience.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Familiarity with substance use services, children’s mental health and developmental supports as well as adult mental health supports.
Strong commitment to providing quality person-centered, trauma-informed and recovery oriented behavioral health care.
Must have valid Texas driver’s license and maintain approved driver’s status throughout employment.

Responsibilities

Deliver live, instructor-led trainings (PMAB, MHFA) to BTCS staff.
Maintain active instructor status for all assigned trainings.
Coordinate and support training activities under supervision.
Travel extensively within the eight-county BTCS service area for on-site trainings.
Schedule trainings in coordination with supervisor.
