Job summary

Bluebonnet Trails Community Services is seeking a Professional Development Coordinator to deliver live trainings such as PMAB and MHFA to staff across eight counties. The role reports to the Director of Training and requires ongoing instructor certification and travel.

The position is 40 hours per week, with four 10-hour days and some weekend/after-hours commitments. In-person training occurs at BTCS clinics within the service area; living in the BTCS region is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services or related field.
• Training and public speaking experience required.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Familiarity with substance use services, children's mental health and developmental supports, as well as adult mental health supports.
• Strong commitment to person-centered, trauma-informed and recovery-oriented care.
• Valid Texas driver's license and maintenance of approved driver status.

Responsibilities

• Deliver live, instructor-led trainings (PMAB, MHFA) to BTCS staff.
• Coordinate and support training activities under supervision of the Director of Training.
• Maintain active instructor status for assigned trainings.
• Travel extensively within the eight-county BTCS service area for on-site trainings.
• Occasionally required to work weekends and after-hours.
