Job summary

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred; relevant certification may be required.
• 2–5 years of experience in a similar delivery role.
• Clean driving record with limited accidents/violations in recent years.

Responsibilities

• Delivers customer orders safely within a service area.
• Follows the planned route for timely deliveries and obeys traffic laws.
• Loads inventory into trucks and unloads orders using material handling equipment.
• Provides professional customer service during deliveries.
• Reviews order manifests for accuracy and completeness.
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections per DOT regulations and internal policies.
• Maintains routine contact with the distribution center for delivery updates.
• Prepares and maintains vehicle and customer order records.
• Contacts customers to provide delivery updates.
• Provides feedback to management on escalated issues.
