The Goddard School® located at 630 Sugars Bridge Rd. West Chester, PA 19382 is seeking a motivated and caring Prekindergarten Teacher. You’ll work with another experienced Teacher to create engaging programs, manage the classroom and ensure a safe, stimulating environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s in ECE strongly preferred.
• Previous experience with young children in licensed childcare/preschool.
• Shows empathy and compassion for young children.
• Works productively without supervision.
• Basic understanding of child development.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. in handling children.
• Must pass state background checks and meet state requirements.

Lead Teacher Key Responsibilities

Curriculum and Instruction

• Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities

• Conduct parent-teacher conferences and provide regular updates

• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and procedures
• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities to ensure their safety and well-being

Professional Development
