Job summary

GeBBS Healthcare Solutions is seeking a Professional Fee ED Coder (temp) with multi-specialty E/M and ED coding experience to provide accurate coding for hospital inpatient and outpatient professional services in the Emergency Department setting.

Candidates must be certified (AAPC CPC or AHIMA CCS, RHIT, or RHIA) with at least three years of pro-fee hospital coding experience and a track record of high-quality coding (95%+).

Qualifications

• Must be AAPC CPC or AHIMA CCS, RHIT, or RHIA certified.
• Minimum of three years' experience with pro-fee hospital coding (IP and OP experience required).
• Ability to code accurately and maintain a quality score of 95% or greater.
• Applicants must pass a pro-fee coding assessment.
• Comfortable working with technology (MS Office, Teams, VPN).

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate coding for hospital inpatient and outpatient professional services in the Emergency Department setting.
• Resolve coding-related edits and maintain coding quality.
• Use ICD-10-CM, CPT, Modifiers and HCPCS Level II codes.
