Job summary

GeBBS Healthcare Solutions is seeking a Professional Fee ED Coder (temp) with multi-specialty E/M and ED coding experience. The role involves accurate coding and resolving ED coding edits for hospital inpatient and outpatient professional services.

Candidates must be certified (AAPC CPC or AHIMA CCS/RHIT/RHIA) with at least three years of pro-fee hospital coding experience (IP and OP). Proficiency with MS Office, Teams, and VPN is expected.

Qualifications

• AAPC CPC or AHIMA CCS, RHIT, or RHIA certification is required.
• Strong coding knowledge for pro-fee hospital coding (IP and OP) and ED coding.
• Ability to maintain high quality coding scores and pass assessments.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate pro-fee coding for hospital inpatients and outpatient services.
• Code using ICD-10-CM, CPT, Modifiers and HCPCS Level II in the ED setting.
• Resolve coding edits and support accuracy metrics.
