Position Title:

Machine Operator

Wage:

$19.45 per hour

Shift:

1st

Hours:

7:00am - 3:00pm

QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity for a Machine Operator at a company in Quincy, IL. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire.

Machine Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Operate production equipment, including hoists and forklifts.
2. Load and unload products from machines.
3. Observe machine operations, identify defects, and make necessary adjustments.
4. Maintain cleanliness and safety in the workspace.

Machine Operator Requirements:

1. Ability to lift 50-100 lbs. consistently throughout shift.
2. Stand for 8-12 hours per shift.
3. Ability to grip, push, pull, and manipulate materials while frequently bending, stooping, twisting, and kneeling.
4. Work in a loud, hot environment.
5. Mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.
6. Ability to read blueprints.
7. Ability to follow safety protocols and directions from supervisors.
