Machine Operator 1st Shift (Temporary Position)

Work Schedule: 1st Shift (M-F 7:00am-3:30pm) This is a temporary position

Starting at $18.00 per hour.

Position Summary: The Equipment Operator will operate equipment used in manufacturing products, working with team members to meet or exceed quality and production expectations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Adhere to safety policies such as PPE, incident reporting, hazard communication, and labeling.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Locate jobs and set up programs in Laser console.
• Ensure goals and expectations are met, and products are developed on schedule.
• Gather needed materials for jobs.
• Perform basic hand deburr tasks.
• Operate aluminum and stainless timesaver machines properly.
• Operate bowls and bead blaster in bowl room.
• Maintain equipment in optimal condition and report issues.
• Complete required paperwork (e.g., 1st pc Article, WIP, 100% Ready for ISN, router).
• Use calipers and other measuring tools accurately.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs, with team lifts of up to 75 lbs.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer information.
• Keep workstation organized and safe.
• Build strong team relationships and collaborate effectively.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and quality checks.
• Maintain accurate documentation and notify supervisors of discrepancies.
• Assist in training new employees as needed.
• Pull jobs efficiently from FIFO system.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Knowledge/Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

• 1-3+ years manufacturing experience in medical device or regulated manufacturing.
• Detail-oriented with problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to read blueprints for setup and operation.
• Effective team collaboration skills.
