Position: Production Worker

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Summary

Under general supervision, work on the production line to build manufactured housing as part of a team, ensuring quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform manual labor in assigned area
• Keep work area neat and clean
• Read and use tape measures and blueprints
• Communicate effectively with coworkers
• Use hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools

Qualifications

Less than high school education or up to one month of related experience/training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous manufacturing/modular housing experience is preferred.

Physical Demands

Must be able to stand, use hands, reach, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Frequently lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally more than 100 pounds. Vision abilities required include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
