Position: Production Worker

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Summary

Under general supervision, work on the production line to build manufactured housing as part of a team, maintaining quality and efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform manual labor in assigned areas
• Keep work areas clean and organized
• Read tape measures, blueprints, and orders
• Communicate effectively with coworkers
• Use hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools

Competencies

• Strong work ethic
• Ability to work quickly and methodically
• Understanding of safety procedures
• Good teamwork skills
• Alignment with Champion Operating Principles

Qualifications

• Less than high school education, or up to one month of related experience/training, or equivalent combination
• Previous manufacturing/modular housing experience preferred

Physical Demands

Must be able to stand, use hands, reach, talk, hear, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must lift up to 50 pounds regularly and more than 100 pounds occasionally. Vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.
