Bachoco USA is hiring for a 2nd Shift - Further Processing - General Production - Heavy Lifter. The role supports the production of quality food products in a fast-paced environment, with duties spanning from line setup to packaging and labeling.

Workers must stand for long periods and be able to lift up to 60 pounds. This safety-sensitive position operates in wet, loud conditions and requires adherence to sanitary standards.

2nd Shift - Further Processing - General Production - HEAVY LIFTER

Deptartment: 149 - Line 1

Shift Hours: 4:00 pm - 1:00 am

Pay Rate: $ 16.25 per hour

Summary: Assist in the production of quality food products by performing the following duties as applicable to a specific task or department.

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Set-up/tear-down workstation & line as required;
• Sort and grade product; make boxes;
• Bag finished product;
• Pack bagged product into boxes;
• Tape boxes;
• Scale boxed product to required weight;
• Label boxes as applicable to customer specifications; and maintains work area in a safe and sanitary manner.
• Production workers are required to stand for a period of time, walk, and reach with hands and/or arms.
• The team member must regularly lift and/or move up to 60 POUNDS. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
• This is a safety sensitive position.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles and extreme cold. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
