Job summary

Bachoco OK Foods in Fort Smith, AR is hiring a Scale Operator for the 2nd shift. This role supports production of high-quality chicken products by setting up/tearing down the workstation, weighing products, and labeling boxes.

You will sort and grade product, pack bagged items into boxes, and ensure customer specifications are met. The job is safety sensitive and requires standing for long periods and occasional heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

• Set up/tear down workstation and line as required.
• Remove tenders from carcass; sort and grade product.
• Make boxes, bag finished product, and pack bagged product into boxes.
• Label boxes to customer specifications; maintain a safe, sanitary work area.

Shift Time: 4:55 pm - EOS

Pay Rate: $ 16.25 per hour

Assist in the production of quality food products by performing the following duties as applicable to a specific task or department. Essential duties and responsibilitiesinclude but are not limited to: Set-up/tear-down workstation & line as required; removes tenders from carcass; sort and grade product; make boxes; bag finished product; pack bagged product into boxes; tape boxes; scale boxed product to required weight; label boxes as applicable to customer specifications; and maintains work area in a safe and sanitary manner. Production workers are required to stand for a period of time, walk, and reach with hands and/or arms. The team member must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 - 40 pounds . While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles and extreme cold. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
