Job summary

Hydro North America in Elkhart, IN is hiring for a packing operator on a permanent night shift from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Starting wage is $20.00 per hour, with a $2.00 per hour shift premium where applicable.

You will process, pack, tag, and prepare aluminum extrusions to customer specs, use stretching equipment, and load logs with a crane. No formal education required; manufacturing experience is a plus, and English communication is essential.

• Good communication skills in English (spoken and written)

Responsibilities

• Process, pack, band, tag and prepare aluminum extrusions according to customer specifications and production requirements
• Operate stretching equipment according to order specifications
• Load aluminum logs using a crane or Combi-Lift
• Use measurement tools and visual inspection to verify product quality and identify damage
• Work closely with Press, Saw and Packing team members to meet productivity and production goals
• Follow work instructions, safety procedures and PPE requirements

Starting Rate of Pay:

$20.00/hour

Shifts Available and Hours:

Night Shift

• Ability to work a full 12-hour shift
