Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a 1st shift Production Worker in Columbus, OH for a 4+ week project with a contract-to-hire path. This entry-level role involves making shim packs, standing for long periods, and performing light lifting in a manufacturing setting.

You will work 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, at $19 per hour. Responsibilities include stacking materials, banding packs, and prepping pallets; prior hands-on experience in production or warehouse is preferred.

Qualifications

• Entry level role making shim packs in a manufacturing setting.
• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Able to lift up to 10–15 lbs.
• Must wear steel-toe or composite-toe shoes.
• Must be able to commit to the working hours for at least 4 weeks.
• Positive attitude and good work ethic.

Job Title: 1st shift Production Worker

Job Description

We are searching for Production Workers for a 4+ week project and would love to have candidates start immediately! We do have experience hiring temporary workers on for full-time permanent roles who have demonstrated excellent attendance and work ethic. This is an entry level role where you would be making "shim packs".

Hours: 5:00AM-3:00PM Monday-Thursday

Pay: $19/hour

Responsibilities

• Stack and band materials to build shim packs.

• Standing and repetitive work with light lifting, up to 10-15 lbs.

• Stack 4x4 pieces of steel plates with varying thicknesses.

• Use banding machine to band packs.

• Stack banded packs onto pallets.

Essential Skills/Requirements:

• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, construction, warehouse, or another hands-on type role is preferred.

• Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time.

• Ability to stay on task for repetitive work.

• Must wear jeans/long work pants and steel-toe or composite-toe shoes.

• Must be able to commit to the working hours for at least 4 weeks.

• Positive attitude and good work ethic.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbus, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
