Job summary

Bio-Rad Laboratories, based in Irvine, California, is seeking a warehouse associate to manage daily tasks such as receiving, storing, picking, packing, shipping, and distribution of materials. You will use the SAP ERP system to process real-time transactions and coordinate with manufacturing for demand signals.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 3 years of warehousing experience, and forklift certification.

• Three years related warehousing experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with perishable products preferred.
• Forklift certification required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, pick, pack, ship and distribute materials with SAP ERP system.
• Weight/dispense chemicals to manufacturing based on system demand signals.
• Perform cycle counts and other inventory transactions.
• Verify goods received against documentation.
• Perform initial quality checks on incoming product.
• Maintain shipping and receiving materials and monitor inventory levels.
• Operate motorized and non-motorized equipment; may operate a forklift.

This position must be based in Irvine, California and requires the employee to be located within commuting distance of the office.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Performs daily routine tasks: receives, stores, picks, packs, ships and/or distributes materials while performing real-time transactions in SAP ERP system.
• Weights/dispenses chemicals to manufacturing team based on system demand signals.
• Performs cycle counts and other inventory transactions.
• Verifies goods received against documentation.
• Performs initial quality check on incoming product.
• Maintains shipping and receiving materials by checking stock to determine inventory levels.
• Utilizes motorized and non-motorized equipment to move materials, parts, supplies and equipment as instructed. May operate a forklift.

What You Bring

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Three years related warehousing experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with perishable products preferred.
• Must be able to be forklift‑certfied.

Compensation

The estimated hourly rate for this position is $21.20 to $29.13 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
