Job summary

Bio-Rad is seeking a Warehouse/Production Operator I for our Irvine, CA site. You will perform production and warehousing tasks within SAP, handling goods receipt, put-away, inspection, cycle counts, and material staging and picking for production.

The role supports other departments as needed and requires forklift capability, basic MS Word/Excel skills, and a strong team-oriented attitude. Competitive benefits available.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must be able to drive a forklift and become internally certified.
  • Experience in a shipping/receiving role is preferred.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment with perishable products is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel is beneficial.
  • Team collaboration and reliability are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Performs daily routine tasks: receives, stores, picks, packs, ships and/or distributes materials with real-time SAP ERP transactions.
  • Weighs/dispenses chemicals to manufacturing team based on system demand signals.
  • Performs cycle counts and other inventory transactions.
  • Verifies goods received against documentation.
  • Performs initial quality check on incoming product.
  • Maintains shipping/receiving materials and checks stock levels.
  • Operates motorized and non-motorized equipment to move materials; may operate a forklift.

Job description

Bio-Rad is looking for a Warehouse/Production Operator I who will be responsible for performing production/warehousing duties within the SAP system including goods receipt, material put away, component inspection, cycle counting, and staging and picking of materials for production. This role will assist other departments as needed.

Location

Bio‑Rad – Irvine, California (must be within commuting distance of the office)

Responsibilities
  • Performs daily routine tasks: receives, stores, picks, packs, ships and/or distributes materials while performing real‑time transactions in SAP ERP system.
  • Weighs/dispenses chemicals to manufacturing team based on system demand signals.
  • Performs cycle counts and other inventory transactions.
  • Verifies goods received against documentation.
  • Performs initial quality check on incoming product.
  • Maintains shipping and receiving materials by checking stock to determine inventory levels.
  • Utilizes motorized and non‑motorized equipment to move materials, parts, supplies and equipment as instructed. May operate a forklift.

Compensation

The estimated hourly rate for this position is $17.79 to $24.52. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer based on factors such as geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job‑permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, dependent on achievement of individual objectives and company performance.
