Job summary

Bio-Rad Laboratories in Irvine, CA seeks a Warehouse Associate to perform receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control in a predominantly cold environment (-20 to 2-8C). You will operate storage equipment and SAP-based workflows, with opportunities to handle cycle counts and packaging processes.

The role requires 1-2 years in warehousing, basic math and strong attention to detail. On-site work with potential forklift operation and RF scanner use, within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required/desirable.
• 1-2 years related warehouse experience or equivalent education.
• Experience operating motorized and non-motorized warehouse equipment.
• Experience with SAP ERP System, preferred.
• Experience on outbound processing and inbound SAP workflows (E1P/W1P).
• RF equipment experience a plus; forklift certification preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and follow written instructions.
• Basic math, problem solving and computer skills.
• Team player with attention to detail and quality minded.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine tasks in receiving, storing, picking, packing, shipping and distribution.
• Unpacks and checks goods against orders and invoices.
• Packages materials and labels products; counts and prepares shipments.
• Performs cycle counts and maintains inventory accuracy.

Overview

As a Warehouse Associate, you will perform an array of functions that may include picking and packing orders, receiving and shipping incoming stock and materials, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse, and inventory management. 99% of tasks will be in a cold environment: -20 freezer and refrigerated 2-8C.

Location: This position must be based in Irvine, California and requires the employee to be located within commuting distance of the office.

How You\'ll Make An Impact

• Performs various routine physical tasks involved in receiving, storing, picking, packing, shipping, or distributing materials, parts, supplies, equipment, finished goods, labeling, lot or serial control.
• Unpacks and checks goods received against work orders, purchase orders, invoices, return authorizations, or other job completion documentation.
• Packages materials including labeling of products/packages. Counts, sorts, and prepares packages for shipment.
• Performs cycle counts as required.
• Operates packaging, sealing and other equipment, including motorized/non-motorized material handling machines; may operate forklift or related equipment.

What You Bring

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent desired.
• Work Experience: 1-2 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience operating motorized and non-motorized warehouse equipment.
• Experience with SAP ERP System, preferred.
• Experience on outbound processing.
• Will be required to work on inbounds using E1P - W1P SAP.
• Experience using radio frequency equipment, a plus.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and follow written instructions.
• Basic math, problem solving and computer skills.
• Forklift certification, preferred.
• Ability to prioritize work.
• Knowledge of shipping procedures.
• Basic knowledge of international shipping procedures.
• Where applicable, knowledge of GMP, ISO, IPC, FDA, DOT, Known Consignor, and/or IATA requirements.
• Knowledge of Hazardous Materials and proper handling techniques.
• Team player, flexible, attentive to detail and quality minded.

Compensation

The estimated hourly rate for this position is $17.79 to $24.52 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on factors such as geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job-permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, dependent on achievement of your objectives and Company performance.
