Job summary

Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc. is seeking an experienced Production/Warehouse Operator in Irvine, CA. You will perform production and warehousing duties in SAP, including goods receipt, putaway, cycle counting, and material staging/picking for production.

The role requires forklift certification and a minimum of three years warehousing experience. Responsibilities include receiving, storing, packing, shipping, and performing real-time SAP transactions, plus inventory verification and quality checks

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Three years warehousing experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with perishable products preferred.
• Forklift certification is required or must be able to become forklift-certified.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, pick, pack, ship and distribute materials with real-time SAP ERP transactions.
• Weight/dispense chemicals to manufacturing team according to system signals.
• Perform cycle counts and other inventory transactions.
• Verify goods received against documentation and perform initial quality checks on incoming product.
• Maintain shipping/receiving materials and monitor inventory levels.
• Operate equipment to move materials and may operate a forklift.

Bio-Rad has an open role for an experienced Production/Warehouse Operator who will be responsible for performing production/warehousing duties in SAP system including goods receipt, material putaway, component inspection, cycle counting, and staging and picking of materials for production. Assist in other departments as needed

Location: This position must be based in Irvine, Californiaand requires the employee to be located within commuting distance of the office.

How You'll Make An Impact

• Performs daily routine tasks: receives, stores, picks, packs, ships and/or distributes materials while performing real-time transactions in SAP ERP system.
• Weights/dispenses chemicals to manufacturing team based on system demand signals.
• Performs cycle counts and other inventory transactions.
• Verifies goods received against documentation.
• Performs initial quality check on incoming product.
• Maintains shipping and receiving materials by checking stock to determine inventory levels.
• Utilizes motorized and non-motorized equipment to move materials, parts, supplies and equipment as instructed. May operate a forklift.

What You Bring

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Three years related warehousing experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with perishable products preferred.
• Must be able to be forklift-certfied.

Compensation

The estimated hourly rate for this position is $21.20 to $29.13 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
