Job summary

North Texas Food Bank seeks a Manager, Production to plan and manage production for all kitted product, ensuring quality and supporting a strong volunteer experience. You will lead production staff and coordinate inventory functions to meet demand.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 2 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution setting, and proficiency with MS Office, CRM and ERP systems. You will optimize resources and ensure safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• 2 years of experience in a warehouse, production or distribution environment
• Supervisory experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage builds and forecast to align volunteer resources with production goals
• Oversee planning and organization of the kitting production process to ensure inventory, equipment, and labor resources
• Report production builds and output on a weekly basis
• Confirm availability of raw materials and facilitate movement of kitted product
• Optimize volunteer resources for high quality and cost efficiency
• Monitor expected output and balance volunteers, product and program needs
• Provide quality control of inventory management
• Enforce safety policies and procedures
• Design and develop work plans and process improvements
• Promote a positive and engaging work environment
