Job summary

Pratt Industries, Inc. is seeking a production operator to safely operate and set up production machines, perform cleanup, and help implement improvements to meet customer demand.

The role emphasizes adherence to GMPs, safety rules, and quality procedures to prevent defects from reaching customers. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, with preferred experience in manufacturing or packaging industries, and a willingness to work across different plant areas while supporting

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: 6 months’ experience in a manufacturing operation.
• Prior work experience in the packaging industry (paper/plastic/converting) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machines safely, including setup, operation, and cleanup.
• Follow GMPs and Pratt Industries safety rules; participate in Safety Committee.
• Adhere to quality procedures; prevent poor quality from leaving the facility.
• Assist with multiple machine areas and varied projects to meet customer demand.
• Maintain housekeeping and keep work areas clean and free of hazards.
• Learn machine capabilities and support efficiency and quality without sacrificing output.
