Qualifications

• Read and follow instructions to operate machinery safely and accurately.
• Maintain high standards of quality; stop bad quality from leaving the facility.
• Understand and follow Pratt Industries safety rules, SOPs, and GMPs.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machines safely, including setup, operation, cleanup, and improvements to meet demand.
• Adhere to safety rules and participate in the Plant Safety Committee.
• Follow GMPs and quality procedures; prevent defective product from reaching customers.
• Maximize equipment utilization; optimize setup and downtime with attention to quality and efficiency.
• Train and assist junior operators and cross-train on other machines.
• Complete reports (Production Data, Machine Status, Safety Data, Quality Data) accurately and timely.
• Provide maintenance requests proactively and help keep the area clean and safe.
• Support scheduling and adapt to overtime or holiday coverage as needed.
