Job summary

Crane Co. seeks an experienced manufacturing technician to perform testing, calibration, and data collection in a regulated production environment. You will interpret orders and drawings, generate non-conformance reports, and support various test methods with precision.

Responsibilities include operating both automated and manual test equipment, maintaining safety standards, and contributing to CBS initiatives. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment or equivalent education.
  • Familiarity with product flow in a manufacturing or repair environment; working knowledge of computer systems.
  • Good oral and written English; proactive problem solving.
  • Ability to learn new test software and equipment; identify non-conforming conditions.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Perform assigned testing operations within the assigned functional area.
  • Create non-conformance reports with detailed testing results and initial root cause investigation.
  • Interpret work orders, drawings, procedures, and manuals; follow specifications.
  • Calibrate or adjust units; perform required measurements and calculations.
  • Operate automated and manual test equipment; simulate in-service conditions.
  • Test units in other programs under supervision; support safety and CBS initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain safe work habits; participate in overtime as needed.
