Job summary

John Crane, a business of Smiths Group, is seeking a Maintenance Support Specialist to keep specialized testing equipment in optimal condition. You will troubleshoot, maintain, and repair pneumatic and electrical systems, ensure proper calibration, and manage spare parts inventory for our test rigs.

Collaboration with test technicians and the production supervisor is essential to resolve daily issues and follow preventive maintenance programs.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline preferred.
• Knowledge of pneumatic equipment and instruments (valves, regulators, compressors 3200 psi+).
• Experience with high/low voltage AC/DC motors (120–480 VAC).
• Know-how of PLC and HMI units; read electrical/pneumatic drawings.
• Ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair pneumatic/electrical test rig equipment.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and calibration records.
• Coordinate with suppliers for equipment support and preventive maintenance.
