Job summary

Leidos’ Defense Systems / Manufacturing in Huntsville, AL seeks a talented Test Engineer to join our team at the Platform Integration Facility. You will support a growing program, working with test engineers and technicians to develop acceptance and qualification tests for electronic and mechanical components.

You will document results, perform data analysis, and help establish procedures and baselines for the manufacturing process in a dynamic production environment.

Qualifications

• BS degree in mechanical, aerospace, or electrical engineering with 4-8 years of experience.
• Able to lift 25 lbs and work independently or in a team.
• US Citizenship with ability to obtain Final Secret Clearance.
• Experience reading mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Create and modify test plans for development, qualification, and acceptance in manufacturing.
• Complete requirements verification and validation documentation and reports.
• Perform test data analysis and generate test reports.
• Brief internal and external parties on test results.
• Debug software and/or hardware with various tools.
• Set up test equipment and conduct functional testing of hardware.
